1. Prepare before release day
Start your campaign before the track is live. Give yourself time to finalise your cover art, artist profile, song description and release date. Create a simple message that explains the mood of the song and who will connect with it.
Prepare short video clips, artwork variations and captions in advance. A consistent campaign looks more trustworthy than a collection of rushed posts.
2. Use one smart link everywhere
A music smart link gives fans one page where they can choose Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music or another preferred service. This removes friction and avoids filling a social-media bio with several long URLs.
Use the same smart link in your Instagram and TikTok bios, YouTube descriptions, WhatsApp messages, email signature and press outreach. LaunchMyTrack records genuine outbound clicks so you can see where listeners choose to play your music.
3. Pitch playlists honestly
Submit unreleased music through Spotify for Artists when eligible, and research independent playlists that genuinely match your genre. Write a short, personal pitch explaining the sound, story and audience.
Avoid services promising guaranteed streams or playlist placement. Artificial activity can waste your budget and does not create a lasting audience.
4. Turn one song into multiple posts
- Share the strongest 10–20 second section with a clear hook.
- Explain the story or meaning behind one lyric.
- Post a studio, rehearsal or artwork reveal.
- Ask fans which platform they use, then direct them to the smart link.
- Thank early listeners and share genuine reactions.
5. Measure and improve
Watch which channels and streaming buttons receive real clicks. If WhatsApp drives more listeners than Instagram, spend more time creating messages supporters will forward. If YouTube wins, publish a visualiser, lyric video or performance clip.
The goal is not to post everywhere endlessly. It is to learn where your real audience responds and repeat what works.
